I am a Pinterest addict; I’m always checking the boards for new inspiration. While I am not good at coming up with my own crafty DIY project ideas, I am awesome at following the directions of those who are good at showing me how I can "do it myself"! I am determined to actually make the things that interest me so I thought I would share a couple of projects that I completed.
1. I made some glittered wine glasses for one of my sisters. Her kitchen color scheme is red and black so I made the glasses to match. It just took a little Mod Podge and glitter! I sealed the glitter in with a coat of clear gloss paint sealant.
2. I was tired of my blah iPhone case so again, I took a little Mod Podge, mixed it with some glitter and voilà! Now I have a sparkly case in my favorite color.
3. This project is for my boyfriend’s sister. She has a sewing room that she’s always apologizing for the mess in so I thought she could hang up this cute little quote in the room and it would remind her that she doesn’t need to feel bad about being creative!
4. I decided to change things up with this one and show you my latest Pinterest baking project! These are watermelon cakes that I made for a family gathering recently. Unfortunately, I don’t have a picture of what they looked like on the inside once they were cut into but the cake itself was red with mini chocolate chips for "seeds"!
